I reversed my own diabetes moving from an A1C of 9.3 to 4.3 in one year. My partner healed symptoms from diverticulitis that removed the need for surgery. We did it with plants, intention, and connecting to the ancestral wisdom that had been in our family all along — with real food that our abuelas knew.
That experience helped me awaken to the relationship I had with food. Not just what I eat, but how I understand my body, my cultura, and my responsibility to my care of self.
I am co-founder of El Hongo Mágico, where that same love of plants and healing lives in every dish. Raíces Mágicas is the place where I can guide mujeres through the same transformation and connection to food as medicine.
